Landon's been geocaching...

Landon found a geocache in Lake Carlos State Park
while visiting Grandma Bev this weekend.
He found a box with Minnesota collectors' cards in it.

Geocaching is treasure hunting. People leave little treasures in protective boxes around the country...it's an online thing where anyone can pick up the gps location and hopefully, when you're in the area, you'll be able to pick up a little souvenir typical of the geographical area. If you remove a treasure, you must replace it with another for the next player hunting for the location.
If I don't have this quite right, Adam, help me improve this comment so the old gray aunt will be well informed.

In this case we happened to find a "Minnesota State Parks Geocaching Wildlife Safari" cache. We found three at Lake Carlos, Lake Maria and Myre Big Island.

See more here.

Ummmmm. So this is a never ending story, right? What treasures did you leave in these three places? Will you ever know who finds them? This sounds like a highly-equitable scavenger hunt and I like that.
