First Day of School

Surprise, today was Landon's first day of school. An opening came up at our preschool so Landon joined today! Landon had fun and the teacher said he was good.

Landon's Big Day

This Sunday Landon was baptized at Faith Lutheran Church. Amy and Dave are his sponsor’s and gathered their family (Hunter and Blake) around the font.

Adam’s parents, Becky (holding camera) and Allen and Kimberly’s parents Duane and Janet stood by Kim’s sister Kelli with her daughter Joci.

Afterward we enjoyed a fun breakfast at Mimi’s Café before changing for Hunter’s afternoon football game.

Chess Tournament

Hunter and Blake snuck a chess tournament in between football games this weekend.  Hunter got 2nd and Blake got 3rd in their division.  Here they are concentrating and posing with the other winners.

Coffee, anyone?

Hunter and his mom volunteered for the coffee service at their church.

There were two pages of instructions on how to do it~~they managed the job with ease.

 

 

The coffee is FREE but donations in the basket are welcome.

 

Hunter's really the one who did the work.

Sioux Falls Stop

Kim, Adam, and Landon are in Sioux Falls this weekend for a wedding. They managed a little recreation at the same time. Here's a shot of Kim and Landon from Adam's phone. They explored the falls while Adam did a 16-mile run on the excellent Sioux Falls trail system.

Underwoods Celebrate!

Labor Day we had a multi-birthday celebration for all of the Underwoods birthdays!  We had great eats, made tunnels out of furniture, talked about stuff going on and just plain enjoyed the day.

Happy Birthday Hunter - today we celebrated Hunter turning "12" (Sept 5th)

Happy Birthday Blake - today we celebrated Blake turning "11" (Sept 24)

Happy Birthday Amy - today we celebrated Amy turning "old" (Sept 27)

We took a moment to also remember and celebrate Erling and Carl on their birthdays as well!  (Sept 3 and 6)
