 Usually, he fixes things on the shelf in a store,

 straightening things out.

 This time, he took the animals out for a little fun.

Blake came home a champion again today in Urbandale. He is wearing his new Champion hat from Carlisle.

Blake won another "beanie". This time Cyclone colors. He also beat a kid that has always beat him in the past and is a state champion. Big day for Blake.

Landon enjoyed the pleasures of Sarasota's Jungle Gardens before heading home to Des Moines.

Blake has won another wrestling trophy!

Bragging Rights

We all earned a medal...or four (in Adam's case).

We made it around the 5K as a family.
Then Landon won a medal for running the 100-meter kids' race
 (see http://www.abbeystyle.blogspot.com/) for that post.

Then Adam ran the Goofy Challenge...

a 1/2 marathon on Saturday,

a full marathon on Sunday...a medal for each run

 plus a Goofy medal for handling the total challenge.

The Fiesta Fun Run Family Portraits...

before the run...and the sun...5:30 a.m. waited on the tarmac

 for an hour before getting into the chute for the third wave...

after the run: 7:30 a.m.

lots of fun as a family...we stuck together and enjoyed the quick walk through Epcot

 and the surrounding landscape to complete the 3.2 miles for a 5K.

on the first part of the Goofy Challenge--a half marathon...

we're off to meet him at the finish for the congrats...

Changing Visitors

We're in between the departure of the Underwoods and the arrival of the Jerdees.

This is our happiest time of the year--when our beloved ones come here for the holidays.

It's also the saddest time of the year--when they leave.

This is the last picture of the Underwoods before they departed for home in Iowa.

Next, the Jerdees will arrive in a couple days.

This will be Landon's luxurious ride during the Family Fun Run at Disney.
